Clearance Requirements

Those student pursuing a degree in Education must have current clearances to work with children. These are requirements that must be fulfilled prior to working in a school.

TB Testing
The Pennsylvania Public School Code, Section 1418(b) requires that school personnel be tested for TB. This page provides furhter informaiton on TB Testing from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
FBI Fingerprinting
IndentoGo is used to register for fingerprinting. Once registered, you will make an appointment to have your fingerprints taken.
Mandated Reporter Training
The Mandated Reporter Training course is found at the PDE SAS website. In order to access the course, you must create a free username and password. You will then need to access the Course Catalog/Registration from the Menu and select the box next to Act 126 to find the different options.
